Attention Men & Women of ALL ages

ALL are invited to meet the “Women of the Bible” in this three part series.

1. •Part one of the series you will meet the women in the Hebrew Scriptures from Matthew’s Gospel. 
   

2. •Part two of the series will focus on the women connected to Jesus and His ministry. 
   

3. •Part three of the series you will meet the women who worked hand in hand with St. Paul in establishing the Church of Jesus Christ.
   

This Women In The Bible Series will be presented by Sandie Bisciglia.  Sandie is an Assistant Professor of Religion at Carthage College.  She holds a MA in Biblical Studies from Sacred Heart School of Theology and is currently completing a MSJS from Spertus Institute of Jewish studies in Chicago.  Sandie teaches Understandings of Religion, Women in the Bible, Hebrew Bible and Judaism at Carthage.  Her areas of interest are the life of women in different communities during the time of the early Church and rabbinic literature and legend.  Please contact Carol Badzinski at 886-0531 for more information.  Registration for the sessions would be appreciated but is not necessary.
